Louise Ellen King (Acton) age 96, of Byron Center, went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 24, 2024. Louise enjoyed camping at Camp Calvary, loved to read, playing table games and travel.  After Carl's retirement, they would go on Mission trips. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; sons, Alan and Ron; grandsons, Jeremy King, Nathan Wood; her parents Charles and Violet Acton. Louise will be lovingly remembered by her children, Anita (Dan) Wood, Eric (Carla) King, Brian (Nancy) King, Jeff (Michelle) King; daughters-in-law, Sharon King and Mary King; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Dale and Nancy King; special nephew and niece, Larry (Susan) Roth, Linda (Fred) Tabberer; and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Monday, July 1, from 9:30 - 10:45 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 1200 28th St. SE, where the funeral service will begin at 11 am. Rev. Dann Austin will officiate. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Contributions in memory of Louise may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Mission Fund.
