Timothy C. Pelletier, age 65, of Grand Rapids, was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, August 23, 2024, where he no longer has pain and suffering. Tim was a member of the Knights of Columbus Post 4362 and an active member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. He worked at Davenport University as a custodian for many years and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah; and his mother, Joyce. Tim will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Alethea; father, Nelson (Sally Cole) Pelletier; brother, Tom (Deb) Pelletier; nephew, Joel (Amanda) Pelletier and their children, Mara and Jeffrey; and niece, Madison (Steven) Grisdale. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28 from 4 - 8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home where a rosary will be held at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Thursday, August 29, with an hour of visitation prior to the service at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1213 52nd St. SE, with Father King and Father Phong as celebrants. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. |

He is missed!
I met him the first time about 1975 at Davenport College where he worked in Maintenance but really got to know him when I joined SMM in 1986.
More often than not when we saw each other, I’d ask why he was still wearing that funny looking Green jacket or shirt. He would always laugh as he knew I was a Lions fan but was always kind, even during the Lions 0-16 season.
Rest in peace my brother.
