Ronald Lee Springvloed, age 87, of Grandville/Jenison, MI went to his eternal home on Thursday, November 14, 2024.  He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Belle Marlene (Fryling) Springvloed; his children, Nanette (Tim) Loerop of Glen Ellyn, IL, Jeffrey Springvloed of Glendale, AZ, and Laura (David) Greenwood of Springfield, VA; grandchildren, Jacklyn (Michael) Thies, Matthew (Elizabeth) Loerop, Jennifer (Aaron) Mabrey, Daniel Greenwood, Peter Greenwood; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Janice Fredricks; brother, James (Lynn) Springvloed; brother-in-law, Ronald Lankheet; sister-in-law, Judy Springvloed.  Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, George and Jeanette Springvloed; his sister, Carole Lankheet; and brother, George Springvloed.  The family will greet friends and relatives on Friday, November 15, from 6 to 8 PM and Saturday, November 16, from 10 - 11 AM at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508.  A private family funeral service will follow on Saturday.  Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Ron may be made to First Byron CRC for the Albanian Christian Ministry.
