Roger Honderd, age 94, of Byron Center, went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 14, 2025.  Roger served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Roger was a long time member of First Cutlerville CRC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mathilda "Til"; parents, Martin and Tillie Honderd; and brother, Marvin Honderd.  Roger will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Marilyn Deemter, Ilah VanWieren, Carol Honderd; and many nieces and nephews.  The family will greet visitors on Saturday, March 22, from 12 noon to 1 pm at the Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th Street, SE, Grand Rapids.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Stroo Funeral Home; with Rev. Kenneth VanWyk, officiating.  Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Roger may be made to Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Service or Wedgwood Christian Services.
