David Lee Postma, age 85, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, July 5, 2025.   David was born on August 29, 1939 in Wyoming, MI and graduated from Kelloggsville High School in 1958.  He enjoyed golfing, softball, fishing, and horseshoes.  David and Lois enjoyed going to estate sales and antiquing, collecting many different things but his favorites were, milk bottles, excavator keys, blue glassware, and coin collecting.  He loved spending winters in Mesa, AZ.  David will be lovingly remembered by his children, Larry (Beth) Postma, Diane (Jim) McDonough, Laura (Donald) Northouse, Andrew Postma, Mindy (Dustin) Gardner; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren;  sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marie Postma, Barbara Postma, Gail Postma, Anna (Gene) Medlin, Hermina (Gord) Vink, Seigurd (Annette) VanDerWall, Don Botting; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lois; granddaughter, Shelby Northouse; sisters, Ida Bowyer, Leona Hall, Martha Wilson; brothers, Joe, Bud, Mart, Ken; and lastly his second wife, Patricia Williams.  The family will greet visitors on Wednesday, July 9, from 5 to 8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Caledonia Christian Reformed Church, 9957 Cherry Valley SE, Caledonia, MI 49316, with Rev. Merlin Buwalda, officiating.  Private interment services will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.  Contributions in memory of David may be made to Caledonia CRC.
